eBay Marketing Tips - How to Make Money on a 24-Hour Basis Selling on eBay

eBay has become the world's biggest 24-hour 'flea market'. You can find great things or you can find not so great things. You can get good deals and horrible deals. You can make money or you can lose money. If you, like everybody else is looking to make money online, then you should do your best not to lose your money in the maze of eBay!

You can spend money on inventory if you want but if you do you already in the category of those who lose money before you even begin! There are too many ways to get into the game without spending money!

This is where the concept of the perpetual garage sale comes into play. Let's face it though; a lot of people really have some good stuff to sell at a garage sale so you could be surprised at the success. If you sell what you already have you have automatically moved into the category of making money!

You can join an affiliate program also. Technically you are not spending money on your inventory but what you do sell is on commission so you are only getting a percentage of the profits of course. Are you making or losing money?

So if you pick one of the above options you are generally speaking making money when you sell an item that is until all the fees for selling on eBay, PayPal and shipping kick in. Don't forget to take all this into consideration when pricing your items or you could be once again...that's right losing money! So if you really want to make money online, start an eBay business after doing your homework.
