** Well first of all, if you've never made a penny online, I'm here to tell you that you're not alone. There are a lot of people who don't have a clear path to follow to become successful as an affiliate.
That's exactly why I decided to put together some of the things that have worked for me over the past few years, that have allowed me to make great money both as an affiliate and being a product owner. So let's dive straight into it!
If I was just starting out, here's what I would do;
The first things is pretty obvious, find a product to promote from the (Clickbank, JvZoo, DealGuardian, W+) marketplace.
If the product you decide to promote offers residual income, that's a sweet bonus
Go to LeadPages, ClickFunnels or other landing page creator website and sign up for a free trial. Create your first landing page depending on the offer you've chosen.
If it's in the weight loss/gain niche, create a weight loss/gain landing page that gives away a free report for the people who sign up.
It can say something like "Discover the 10 Painless Ways to Lose/Gain Weight".
Obviously don't copy this, it's just an example of how your headlines should look like.
Go to Awaber or Getresponse and create a free trial there as well.
Add your free report to your autoresponder so people get it after they subscribe. Failing to do this will make people unsubscribe from your list, lose trust and respect in you.
After they subscribe you can set your landing page to redirect your opt-ins to the affiliate offer you've chosen from the above marketplace(s) on step #1.
Majority won't buy from the first time, but those that buy will help you save some money so you can spend on ads to scale your business.
Don't forget that you will also be following up with them since you have their email address and their full interest at that moment. You can send them valuable emails, send them to your blog so they can watch your videos etc. And then after a few emails of giving value, you can offer them an affiliate product. Works like charm!
People buy from people that they like, trust and follow. If you never built any relationships with your list, you can't expect to make any sales. Because you're doing what 95% of failing affiliates are doing, chasing the money!
When it comes to traffic, you can use Forums, YouTube, Your Blog, Facebook Group Posting, Instagram, Reddit, Twitter. But to keep things simple, we'll just go with forum traffic.
To find these forums go to Google and type "Weight loss forums" or "Your Niche + Forum".
Sign up at these forums and create a signature. Be active by posting interesting stuff and by helping other members out so you can build relationships. That will naturally lead people to click on your signature and visit your website.
This is commonly an overlooked method and it might look like it's old and outdated, but believe me it still works today like it did 5, 6 and even 10 years ago.
So that's it, a simple approach to promote Affiliate products and make some money.
It's pretty simple, but not easy. We tend to over complicate things, when in reality, all it takes is that courage to get out there and start taking action! That's where majority of the marketers fail, unfortunately.
