I want to show you some offline marketing techniques that you can use to take your business to the next level. Most people only dream of having business success but they fail to do so due to the lack of knowledge on their behalf. So in this article, I want to share with you a few of the offline marketing techniques that I have used to have success in my business.
Some people seem to think that offline marketing is dead. Offline marketing isn’t dead - in fact it’s alive in kicking. Everyday thousands of letters are mailed to recipients in the hopes of achieving a sale. You should know that you too can partake in this practice too if you had the right business tools at your advantage.
The bottom line is that there are a ton of offline marketing techniques that can take your business to the next level. One of the offline marketing techniques that I want to share with you is newspaper advertising. When advertising in the newspapers, you don’t have to advertise in the section that relates to your business the most. Sometimes advertising in the sports section can yield you the most response. I’ve seen this happen time and time again.
When creating your ad, you’re more than likely will be creating a display ad - unless you’re doing classified advertising - which we will get to in a minute. When creating your display ad, you want to lead with a strong headline. Your headline will make or break your ad, because it’s the first thing that a viewer sees when coming across your ad. So if your ad doesn’t interest them enough to take action, more than likely they will come and be gone very quickly.
After you’ve written up a whiz band headline, do your best to write compelling body copy. The body copy of your ad should entail more about what your prospect can expect to receive from doing business with you. This isn’t the place to sell your product because there’s just not enough space to sell your product.
Instead, try to generate a lead. When you generate a lead, you’ll give yourself the opportunity to follow up on your prospect and further the chance of making the sale. When following up on your prospect, this is the best time to pitch your product to them because with their contact information, you can give them your entire sales message. So keep this in mind when running your newspaper ads. Here’s one of another offline marketing techniques that is very effective.
2) Classified advertising
Alot of people search the classifieds on a daily basis, which is why I included this method as one of my offline marketing techniques. If you want to have the kind of success that you desire in your business, you should consider incorporating classified advertising into your marketing plan.
I myself personally search the classifieds for daily deals on a wide variety of things. It all just depends on what’s listed. I can remember when I was broke and didn’t have a job, I saw a classified ad listing for plasma donation. The ad said “make $50 this week - be a hero”, so I jumped at it. I would have never seen that ad if I didn’t browse through the classified advertising section. Here’s another one of my offline marketing techniques that I find very effective.
3) Joint ventures
Joint venture marketing is huge. For some businesses, their entire business revolves around joint venture marketing. A joint venture is merely an alliance of 2 companies who come together to make additional profits. A good example of a joint venture would be if you sold information products about golfing and you teamed up with a golf shop in your town. The customer database is similar, so it lends for a possible joint venture deal.
Joint ventures get the 2 thumbs up in my book, and it’s one of those offline marketing techniques that’s an oldie but a goodie. I suggest that you consider using it today as a part of your marketing strategy.
If you want to have success in your business, simply follow the offline marketing techniques listed in this article. I currently use all 3 of these strategies in my business so you can lay rest assured that all of these methods are tested and proven to work.
Good luck with implementing these offline marketing techniques.
